MANGO PIT REMOVER
Boy would that ever make a Mango more enjoyable. Of course it would also do double duty as a Kiwi peeler. Thanks for the fun and creative exercise. I love your website! Jerry, from Herndon, Georgia
HEATABLE BOWL WITH THERMOSTAT
A porcelain or metal bowl with in-built heat coils and thermostat, which would let us warm up our vegetable soup on cold days without cooking it. I was going to make this to make some money, but I have other things to do, so I hope someone else will do this. This could also be used to make raw maple syrup, slowly distilled. Oliver Boldizar
YOUNG-COCONUT OPENER
This gadget would be as easy to use as an electric can opener. It would first make a hole in the top so we can pour out or drink the coconut water. Then it would open a circle at the top of the coconut. It would work for young coconuts as well as green ones (the harder outer shells shaped like gorilla heads).
RAW CORN POPPER
Some purists shun corn, but for the rest of us, there must be some way to pop sun-dried organic corn kernels without heating them, to make that old favorite snack. Maybe in a vacuum chamber?
QUIET POWER BLENDER
Like a Vitamix or K-Tec, but not noisy. Even if you wear noise-cancelling headphones with the current models, the machine's harsh sound waves still hit your body, and that can't be good.
COFFEE-TYPE GRINDER WHOSE BLADES CAN BE REMOVED FOR WASHING
For grinding dehydrated sprouted nuts and grains into flour and cacao beans into a fine dust for recipes. The only model we know of on the market that has a removable stainless steel bowl and blades (for ease of cleaning) has gotten bad reviews that say it doesn't grind well and that it spills the flour all over the counter and floor. Besides, the removable cup is very deep and the blades don't come out. Food particles would get stuck under them. It has to be possible for someone to design a machine like the above one that actually works well. The problem with all the other ones on the market is that the grinding mechanism and bowl can't be submerged under running water. This isn't good, because the oil residues from the ground nuts will become rancid.
DESIGNER REBOUNDERS
In a wide variety of colors. Whoever is manufacturing these is obviously not someone into home decor. The fact is that many people have to keep their rebounders in their living rooms (for lack of space), and a black or royal blue rebounder might not go with their decorating scheme. How about rebounders designed to look more like a piece of living room furniture? I'd like one in silver metal with a pastel lavender or lilac cloth section. They should be available in many cloth colors: white, off white, and pastels, for a start. And also in bright colors.
SILENT DEHYDRATORS
For those of us who keep our dehydrators in the kitchen. My 9-tray Excalibur makes a lot of noise, and considering that it can be on for days to make a batch of cookies, this is not good.
CONVECTION OVENS
With temperatures that can go down to 90 degrees. I've heard that convection ovens can be more efficient than dehydrators. Does any company make ones whose temperatures can go as low as 90 degrees? If not, add that to the wish list.
